Libya: flights resume at Tripoli's Mitiga airport

Airport operational again after latest rocket launch

    (ANSAmed) - TUNIS, FEBRUARY 18 - Mitiga airport in Tripoli resumed flights on Monday evening, becoming once again the only operating airport in the capital city, after air traffic was suspended for some hours on Monday afternoon due to "renewed rocket launches" that Libyan broadcaster Al Ahrar attributed to the forces of General Khalifa Haftar.

    The Mitiga airport Facebook page also reported that air traffic and flights had resumed.

    The airport was also forced to close and cancel flights for some hours on February 13.(ANSAmed).
