Coronavirus: Casa Santa Marta prelate tests positive

    VATICAN CITY - An Italian monsignore who lives in Casa Santa Marta, the Vatican hostel where Pope Francis also lives and holds daily Mass, has tested positive for the coronavirus and has been admitted to hospital.

    The building and its residents have been "subjected to coronavirus prevention protocols", the Vatican said.

    The pope said his regular morning mass there Thursday.
