Search for missing resumes, 'no infant among victims'

    (ANSAmed) - TUNIS, JUNE 10 - The captain of the boat that sunk near Kraten off the Kerkennah islands was reportedly Tunisian, Sfax court spokesman Mourad Turki said Wednesday.

    Turki noted that the search for people still missing had resumed. There were reportedly 53 sub-Saharan migrants onboard the boat, which left from Sfax during the night between June 4 and June 5.

    As of Wednesday morning, 22 corpses had been found.

    Turki denied media reports that an infant was among the victims.(ANSAmed).
