Kurds, amnesty for thousands of ISIS detainees in Syria

    BEIRUT - Kurdish-Syrian authorities announced today an amnesty for thousands of detainees, middle or low-ranking members of ISIS, who have been imprisoned for at least two years in jails in northeastern Syria, a region controlled by Kurdish-Syrian forces backed by the US-led anti-ISIS coalition, Kurdish authorities were quoted as saying by Syrian media.
