others went missing after a boat carrying an unknown number of
migrants sunk near the southern coast of the island of Lesbos in
Greece, the newspaper Kathimerini reported Tuesday.
The Greek coast guard has as of the early afternoon rescued 24 people.
Some people reportedly jumped into the water before the boat reached the rocky coast.(ANSAmed). (ANSA).
