(ANSAmed) - BEIRUT, JANUARY 19 - A Syrian child died on
Tuesday after the wall of his makeshift housing inside an IDP
camp near the border with Turkey collapsed.
The news was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which said that the collapse happened as a result of a landslide caused by heavy rain in the Killi camp in Syria's northwestern Idlib province.
About two million people have been living for years in IDP camps and makeshift shelters in the province.
Last year numerous children died of cold and bad weather conditions in Idlib IDP camps.(ANSAmed). (ANSA).
