the 2017 bomb that killed Maltese journalist
Daphne Caruana Galizia was given 15 years in prison on Tuesday.
The man, Vince Muscat, began collaborating with the judicial system in the spring of 2019.
Maltese media reported the news while the hearing was still underway in Valletta.
Prior to announcing the sentence judge Edwina Grima asked Muscat whether he intended to reconsider his confession, to which Muscat answered "there is no need to". (ANSA).
