(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, MARCH 3 - Romanian border police
have intercepted and blocked over the past few hours 36
undocumented migrants at the border with Hungary. Some of the
migrants were hidden in trucks while others were trying to cross
the border illegally on foot. Some of them were minors.
Eight migrants were found on two trucks coming from Romania and Turkey and directed to Germany and France. The other 28 were stopped a few hundred meters from the border. The migrants were mainly Afghans, Syrians, Eritreans, Iraqis and Iranians between the ages of 11 and 37.
Another four undocumented migrants were found last night hidden in a Macedonian truck directed to Germany. They were discovered by customs officials at the border crossing of Horgos between Serbia and Hungary.(ANSAmed).
