(ANSAmed) - ROME, FEBRUARY 27 - "The government considers the parliamentary initiative to promote the recognition of the state of Palestine positively and will make every effort to ensure that negotiations between the parties reopen", said Italian Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni addressing the House. "There is a right for Palestinians to have their country, and their is a right for the state of Israel to live in peace and security despite the fact that some charters would like to delete its existence. Within this framework, the government views favourably the parliamentary initiative for the promotion of a Palestinian state and will make every effort to ensure that negotiations between the parties reopen", said Gentiloni.
