Israel: former premier Ehud Olmert entered prison

To serve 19-month corruption sentence

    (ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, FEBRUARY 15 - Israeli Former prime minister Ehud Olmert arrived at the Maasiyahu jail in Ramle, in the centre of the country, where he will serve a 19 month-long sentence for corruption, this morning.

    In a message released before he reached the prison, he said he is not guilty and that he wishes to be remembered for what he has done for the country. (ANSAmed).
