(ANSAmed) - ISTANBUL, MARCH 17 - The opposition of President Recep Tayyip Erdoganis is once again denouncing censorship against its campaign for a 'no' vote at a referendum on the presidential system scheduled on April 16 in Turkey.

The participation of two leading lawmakers at events organized in two important universities in Istanbul was denied.

The vice-president of the social democrats of Shp, Selin Sayek Boke was invited not to take part in an event scheduled Sunday at the university of Bosphorus. The dean's office motivated the decision saying it did not want politicians during the electoral campaign for the referendum, adding that it had not been informed in advance about the participation of the parliamentarian. Another opposition MP, Aylin Nazliaka, who has left the Chp, denounced ''strong pressure'' that allegedly led the dean of the university Bilgi to exclude her from an event on violence against women.
