(ANSAmed) - NEW YORK, MAY 19 - The US is to sign a 110 billion dollar deal with Saudi Arabia for the sale of arms over a ten-year period during the upcoming visit by President Donald Trump, the New York Times reports.

Trump's advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner has allegedly had a hand in the deal.

Kushner is reported to have drawn up the 'shopping list' with Saudi officials.

The list includes a sophisticated radar system for shooting down ballistic missiles, aircraft, ships and precision bombs. Kushner allegedly called Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson directly to ask if the price of the radar system could be lowered, the newspaper reports. (ANSAmed).
