(ANSAmed) - TUNIS, AUGUST 7 - The Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT), the country's main labour union, has joined the call from the North African Collective to mobilise against the "racist ship C-Star" by inviting its members to prevent the ship from docking at Tunisian ports, following examples on Sunday in Zarzis and Sfax where the ship was prevented from docking.

On its official Facebook page the union is calling for its workers and employees at all Tunisian ports to prevent the C-Star from docking.

On Sunday a protest by fishermen in Zarzis, in southeast Tunisia, prevented the C-Star from docking there.(ANSAmed).
