Montenegro to hold presidential elections April 15

Eventual run-off to be held April 29

    (ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, JANUARY 19 - Montenegro will hold presidential elections on April 15, said Montenegrin Parliament Speaker Ivan Brajovic, cited by local media.

    If neither candidate wins a 50%-plus-one majority of votes, a run-off election will be held 14 days later.

    In Montenegro the president is elected by universal suffrage to a five-year term. (ANSAmed).
