    (ANSAmed) - ROME, MAY 13 - These are the main events scheduled for tomorrow in the Euro-Mediterranean area: BRUSSELS - meeting between foreign ministers of EU Member States and G5 Sahel countries to discuss security in the region.

    BRUSSELS - Seminar titled 'Sharpening EU Leadership in Plastics Recycling', organised by Friends of Europe, with European Commission Vice President Jyrki Katainen.

    PALERMO - Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) meetings and workshops in preparation for the "Summit of the Two Shores", to take place in Marseille in June, with the participation of UfM Secretary-General Nasser Kamel and UfM Deputy Secretary-General Miguel Garcia Herraiz (until 17/5).

    MILAN - Spazio Polene, via Olona 6/bis - Contemporary art auction curated by Gloria Gatti with the works of 70 artists to support the Italian Centre for Peace in the Middle East (CIPMO) project "Mediterranean: Beyond the Walls of the Mind".

    CANNES - Film Festival begins.

    ROME - Yunus Emre Institute, Turkish Cultural Centre, 6:30 p.m.

    - Conference by Professor Marcella Frangipane, director of the Italian Archaeological Mission in Eastern Anatolia (MAIAO), on the topic "Arslantepe and the Birth of the State: A Long Archaeological Study for the Reconstruction of a Millennial History".

    MILAN - Press conference to present Milano ArchWeek 2019, the third edition of the week-long architectural event to take place May 21-26. VICENZA - The 11th edition of the International Security Forum starts continues (to May 16).

    VENICE - Correr Museum - 'Sabra Beauty Everywhere', exhibition by Chiara Dynys with works created in Beirut between 2010 and 2013 (until 24/11).
