'Gulf accidents a well-known script', Zarif says

'Like disastrous war in Iraq'

(ANSAmed) - ISTANBUL, MAY 14 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter that he had expected accidents since April, ''not because I am a genius but because the B-team is following so brazenly John Bolton's script'', referring to four commercial ships that were the targets of a reported sabotage attack off the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.

''After all, half of the B-team was a co-conspirator in the disastrous war in Iraq''. Zarif used the term ''B-team'' to indicate a group hostile to Tehran, including Bolton, a US national security advisor, Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu and the crown princes of Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Salman and Mohammed bin Zayed.

The accident mentioned by Zarid concerned two cargos and oil tankers of Saudi Arabia damaged on Sunday by explosions in the Gulf, off the United Arab Emirates. Several investigations are ongoing on the incident. Some US sources have blamed Tehran.
