Migrants: Avramopoulos, Turkey remains key partner

Both sides engaged in implementing accord with EU

    (ANSAmed) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 16 - The European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos on Tuesday said he has recently visited Ankara and had a ''constructive and very open discussion'' with the interior minister. ''Turkey remains a key partner in the management of migration flows and both sides remain engaged in continuing to fully implement the agreement between the Union and Turkey, it is a joint commitment reaffirmed during my visit'', he added.(ANSAmed).
