(ANSAmed) - ROME, JANUARY 7 - The European Research
Council (ERC) is funding 55 projects that have ''high
implementation potential'' at an economic and social level with
150,000 each for a total of 8.25 million euros. The projects
include a new low-cost test to diagnose Covid-19, a technique to
develop medicines against blindness and new technologies to
produce clean energy.
Eight of the projects funded are Italian. They are promoted by the Italian institute of technology (ITT) and the Polytechnic of Milan, with two projects each, and by the universities of Milan, Pisa, Florence and the Federico II in Naples.(ANSAmed).
