(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, OCTOBER 2 - In the first eight months
of 2019, Serbia registered 2.49 million tourists, or 5,5 per
cent more compared to the same period last year, the National
Tourism Organisation of Serbia announced Wednesday.
According to figures from the national statistical office, there were 1.28 million Serbian tourists in the period, which was a 6% y-o-y increase, and 1.2 mln foreign visitors, or 5% more than in the first eight months of 2018.
Tourists from Bosnia and Herzegovina were the most numerous followed by visitors from China, Montenegro, Turkey and Romania.
