(ANSAmed) - ROME, MARCH 21 - The Tripoli airport was closed
today after the main runway was struck by missiles.
Incoming flights were diverted to the Mitiga airport,
others were canceled, local media reported.
The blasts caused two craters at the end of the principle
runway; and the airport will be reopened in the afternoon using
an old runway, a source told the Libya Herald.(ANSAmed).
