(ANSAmed) - NAPLES, SEPTEMBER 19 - The Catalonia and Valencia
regions will be working together to complete the Mediterranean
Corridor, which will link Spain's Mediterranean coast with
France and other European corridors via a high speed rail line.
Regional presidents - Valencia's Ximo Puig (who is also PSOE
secretary general) and Catalonia's Carles Puigdemont - met on
Monday in Valencia and decided to set up a ''permanent technical
committee.
The committee will include representatives from both regional
governments and will be tasked with oversight of the ongoing
works for the railway corridor, which both regions hold to be
key for growth and competitiveness. (ANSAmed)
