ANSAMED - TOMORROW'S EVENTS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

scheduled to take place tomorrow in the Mediterranean area:
VATICAN CITY/PARIS - U.S. President George W. Bush meets Pope
Benedict on the final day of his visit to Italy; Bush then
travels to France to meet counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy.
PARIS - French President Nicolas Sarkozy meets Afghan
counterpart Hamid Karzai.
BEIRUT- Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa visits to try
and help the mediation between the rival Lebanese parties and
help the formation of a "government of national unity".
ATHENS - 6th UNESCO Summit of the heads of states of South-East
Europe. The summit will bring together the heads of state or
representatives of Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece,
Montenegro, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey.
UNITED NATIONS - Security Council due to adopt resolution
extending mandate of U.N. peacekeeping force in Cyprus.
ZARAGOZZA - Opening of EXPO Zaragoza 2008 on water and
sustainable development (until June 14); Spain's King Juan
Carlos, Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero to take
part.
TUNIS - Tenth edition of the Carthage Investment Forum ends.
MADRID - 67th edition of Madrid's Book Fair continues (until
June 15).
ISTANBUL - Beauty Eurasia, the fair directed to beauty products,
continues (until June 15).
BRUSSELS - EU, news conference of Commissioner Spidla on the
campaign for health and security at work.
LUXEMBOURG - EU, Transport, Telecommunications and Energy
ministers meeting ends.
BRUSSELS - NATO, defence ministers meeting ends.
