MOROCCO, CROATIA SIGN NON DOUBLE-TAXATION ACCORD
(ANSAmed) - RABAT, JUNE 30 - Morocco and Croatia have
recently signed a non double-taxation agreement (non-DTA). The
accord was finalized during a visit (June 25-26) by Minister of
Foreign Trade, Abdellatif Maâzouz to Croatia at the head of a
large delegation of Moroccan officials and businessmen.
The agreement provides for the exemption of customs duties
and taxes for samples and advertising materials with no
commercial value, and the suspension of customs duties and taxes
for goods, items and equipment temporarily imported and
necessary for trade exhibitions and fairs.
Visiting Minister held several meetings with Croatian
officials, mainly Head of State, Stjepan Mesic, and
Vice-President and Minister of Economy, Damier Polancec. During
his visit to Croatia, the Moroccan official participated in an
economic forum hosting businessmen from the two countries, Map
