Burglars broke into the
Chiantishire villa of the Dutch royal family at the weekend but
went away empty handed, local daily La Nazione reported Friday.
The intruders only took the royals' off-road vehicle, but
abandoned it nearby, police said.
It was not clear if the burglary was foiled or simply that the
gang found nothing valuable.
Carabinieri are investigating the break-in at the villa, which
is situated in the Chianti hills near the lovely village of
Badia Passignano.
