(ANSA) - ZAGREB/LJUBLJANA, 21 LUG - "Croatia can be delighted with the compromise reached tonight on the plan for economic recovery and on the EU's 7-year budget, which guarantees the country 22 billion euros and excellent leverage to make reforms and restore the economy." said Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenkovic, after the agreement reached at the European Council in Brussels. "I believe that all European leaders can be satisfied with the compromise because everyone has achieved something, but the real winner is the economic recovery for the whole of Europe," the premier underlined. Ljubljana will receive a € 10.5bn fund package, of which € 6.6bn in subsidies, € 2.9bn for cohesion policy, and € 1.6 bn for agricultural policy. (ANSA).
