(ANSA) - BERLIN, 10 SET - The economic recovery in Germany will be "faster" than expected after the unprecedented collapse of the second quarter due to the crisis triggered by the pandemic, economist at the German DIW Institute said today. The German GDP, which could contract by 6% this year, could grow back to pre-crisis levels in the next year and a half, according to the new forecast. For the years 2021 and 2022, the GDP could reach + 4.1% and + 3% respectively, DIW said in a statement.
