(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 04 SET - American President Donald Trump
will speak today on the second day of talks on Kosovo underway
since yesterday in Washington, Belgrade-based media reported,
citing sources from the White House. Serbian President
Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovar Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti are
attending the talks. Trump will attend the signing of a planned
economic agreement between Belgrade and Pristina and meet Vucic
and Hoti in the Oval Office. The media added that the Serbian
president and the Kosovar premier would also be received
separately today by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The terms
of the agreement that should be signed today by Belgrade and
Pristina are still unknown. President Vucic firmly opposed and
got the point relating to mutual recognition between Serbia and
Kosovo removed. The organizers of the meeting in Washington,
namely the national security adviser to the US President Robert
O'Brien and the special envoy American for Kosovo Richard
Grenell, expressed on Twitter satisfaction with the results
achieved in the first day of talks, focusing on economic
collaboration between Belgrade and Pristina. (ANSA).
