Covid-19: Romania hit the record high, 1,356 cases,35 deaths

(ANSA) - BUCHAREST, JUL 30 - Romania has hit the record high of coronavirus infections again, as 1,356 covid-19 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 49,591 since the beginning of the pandemic. The country has recorded another 35 deaths since yesterday, and the death toll is currently 2,304. The Balkan country remains the hardest hit in the region and is ranked first in Europe for the number of deaths per thousand inhabitants. Arrivals from Romania to Italy, along with those from Bulgaria - both EU member countries - are subject to a 14-day quarantine requirement. (ANSA).
