24 December, 13:26
(ANSA) - PALERMO, DECEMBER 24 - An agreement signed by Sicily, Serbia, Albania, Egypt, Lebanon and Malta in Trapani has brought to completion the project Itineramed.

The EU project was sponsored by the Sicilian coastal action group (GAC) 'Torri e Tonnare del Litorale Trapanese'.

Foreign delegations came to Trapani for the final step of the project, which aims to lay the foundations for future online planning. The eight-article 'charter', initially drawn up by the technical coordinator of the head GAC, Giampiero Cappellino, was debated over the afternoon in the presence of PWC lawyers and all the delegates, including representives of the Sicilian GACs taking part. The first two phases of the project were carried out at Expo Milano 2015, in June and July. (ANSA).
