Greece opens to Italy, tests for people from affected areas

Measures affects Emilia-Romagna, Lombardia, Piemonte, Veneto

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 01 GIU - From June 15, international flights will be allowed into Athens and Thessaloniki airports, but passengers originating from an airport on the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) affected area list will be tested upon arrival, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in statement. An overnight stay at a designated hotel is required.

If the test is negative then the passenger self-quarantines for 7 days. If the test is positive, the passenger is quarantined under supervision for 14 days. The measure affects travellers from Emilia-Romagna, Lombardia, Piemonte, Veneto. (ANSA).
