Tourism: Italy Fvg, last-minute and reassuring destination

Gomiero (PromoTurismoFvg), 'digital and very accessible beaches'

03 July, 10:15
(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JULY 2 - "Friuli Venezia Giulia is a perfect region for any last minute and reassuring holiday," said the general manager of PromoTurismo Fvg Lucio Gomiero after the presentation of the integrated and joint promotion project of the Upper Adriatic Riviera on German markets, along with Veneto and Emilia Romagna. "It's a last-minute destination because you can easily reach our region from Austria and Germany by car, without booking public transport in advance - he underlined - and reassuring because our health system has proven highly effective in these months. We are the region of northern Italy with the lowest number of patients, and the infection profiles are similar to those of Bavaria," Gomiero underlined the value of the joint promotion of a single 'brand' along with the other regions of the North Adriatic and recalled the characteristics of the FVG beaches. "They have been organized according to the anti-infection measures but safeguarding the pleasantness of the holiday. E.commerce systems have been enhanced or created from scratch, and allow online booking, avoiding any queue. With the daily bracelet, we have also marked groups so that you have an immediate perception of the type of guest. They help visual control and give a sense of security." The general manager of PromoYurismo Fvg also underlined the strategic actions already in place. "From July 1 all tourists can rely not only on the portal for registering tourists but also to the newly designed one dedicated to the sea, with the 100 most captivating and unique experiences that you can live along on our coastline. Our guests' reviews in these first weeks are flattering: they consider the beach and the services we promote more interesting, colorful, and embellished. Additional room granted to visitors this summer is considered as a 'plus' if compared with the overcrowding recorded in the past years." (ANSA).
