(ANSA) - TRIESTE - "Right now it's very important to find a way
to build a partnership with Europe in order to solve these
problems together, because the countries of the Western Balkans
cannot deal with the current refugee crisis alone". This is what
Tamara Mugosa, director of the Migration, Asylum, Refugees
Regional Initiative (MARRI) and non-resident ambassador of
Montenegro to Israel, said today in Trieste, where she attended
a meeting of the national coordinators for the 18 countries of
the Central European Initiative (CEI), The MARRI is a regional
initiative, founded in 2004, which includes today Albania,
Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Macedonia and Kosovo, designed to
act as a 'platform' to address migration in the Balkans and the
refugee issue in a synergistic way and through concrete
projects. The CEI, who has allocated a part of its cooperation
fund to the migration issue, is launching a cooperation with
Marri on the migration issue. (ANSA).
