(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 09 LUG - Bad beginning for Rijeka 2020, the city of Croatia (Rijeka) capital of culture: as soon as the big opening parties have ended, the pandemic has imposed the lockdown and therefore also the suspension of all of the numerous initiatives planned to celebrate this very special year for the beautiful town with an elegant seafront. Although these days the coronavirus spread in the country imposes caution and rigor, the year is still long, and much more can be done.

In the meantime, the Repubblica Guide on Fiume-Rijeka and the Kvarner has been published, on the occasion of the year of culture.
