    (ANSAmed) - RIYADH, 04 FEB - Saudi Arabia has decided to close cinemas, amusement arcades and restaurants, tightening restrictions after an increase in Covid-19 cases. In a statement released by the official Saudi press agency, the interior ministry said there will be a 30-day ban on events and parties, including weddings. In addition, "all entertainment activities" will be suspended for 10 days with a possible extension, including cinemas, betting halls and food services in all restaurants and snack bars. Saudi Arabia launched its anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign on 17 December after receiving the first shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. The health ministry said the programme will take place in three phases, starting with people over age 65 and those with chronic illnesses or at a high risk of infection.(ANSAmed).
