(ANSAmed) - TUNIS, 09 NOV - Tunisia is hosting until November
12 the third meeting of members of the Mediterranean Network for
Feminist Information "Medfeminiswiya" with the participation of
22 women in journalism from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco,
Palestine, Italy, Turkey, Lebanon, Croatia, Spain and
Montenegro.
This third meeting was organized after several preparatory meetings held remotely for three years due to Covid and the last meeting in person in Morocco was in 2019, said the co-president responsible for the project Medfeminiswiya, Samia Allalou, stressing the importance of these meetings that will allow members of the Medfeminiswiya network to discuss several themes and exchange opinions between different generations of journalists. During the event in Tunis, the general assembly of the association Medfeminiswiya Network will be held to remember the values and principles of this project and present the report of activities for 2021.
Mefeminiswiya is a feminist network of journalists and content creators who work in several Mediterranean countries with the objective of promoting the culture of diversity and solidarity among female journalists in the Mediterranean region. (ANSAmed)
