(ANSAmed) - PARIS, JANUARY 7 - French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday wrote in a Tweet that ''those who have been vilely attacked at Charlie Hebdo, four years ago already, were fighting for freedom of expression and thus the Republic''.

''The Republic is always here and freedom of expression is stronger than ever. We don't forget those who paid with their lives''.

France is commemorating the victims of a terror attack on January 7, 2015, in which 11 people were killed in the newsroom plus a policeman. (ANSAmed)
