11 June, 13:01

(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, JUNE 11 - A delegation from the International Criminal Court (ICC) is scheduled to arrive in Israel at the end of the month for a preliminary examination on war-crime allegations and crimes against humanity committed in the Occupied Territories, Haaretz reported, quoting Palestinian sources according to which the Ramallah leadership has already been notified.

The visit should establish whether there are reasonable grounds to hold that war-crimes were committed and that the Court has jurisdiction over them.

If that were proved to be the case - added the paper- crimes attributed to the Israeli as well as the Palestinian side would be examined. (ANSAmed)
