(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, NOVEMBER 21 - A Palestinian
demonstrator died in hospital after being wounded in clashes
with the army during a military operation last night to capture
a wanted man in Jenin, West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa
reports. Wafa identified the victim as Mahmoud Saadi, 18. The
army said that during the operation "gunshots were fired and
explosive devices thrown against soldiers who responded with
fire".
The wanted man was identified by the military spokesperson as Athb al-Bali "a terrorist who has already been incarcerated. He is suspected of a series of armed attacks and of planning significant others". According to the same source, the man handed himself over to the soldiers. (ANSAmed).
