TUNIS - Some 45 countries, of which 28 African and 17 Arab, will be taking part in the 32nd Carthage Film Festival (JCC).
The festival will run from October 30 to November 6.
The announcement was made by director general Ridha Behi in a press conference during which he illustrated the main parts of this festival and the selection of films in competition, after the festival was not held in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.

There will also be an audiovisual panorama of the Global South and the impact of globalization and the digital revolution on the production and distribution of Tunisian films as well as more of a look at the margins of the Tunisian population, both in terms of regions as well as detention facilities and the military.
The 32nd edition of the festival will focus on both films from the North (Belgium) and the South (Libya), while also taking a look at the Francophone world and its contribution to the visibility of films of the member states of the International Francophone Organization (OIF).
There will be 14 Tunisian films taking part.
