Priority to healthcare operators, over-70 for vaccine

    (ANSAmed) - LJUBLJANA, JANUARY 13 - In Slovenia restrictive measures to contain the spread of coronavirus will remain in force at least until late in the spring, when a good percentage of the population will be vaccinated, said Prime Minister Janez Jansa. The premier was speaking during an interview broadcast by the first channel of State television, after presenting the vaccination plan as interim health minister. The government's objective is to provide coverage to 70% of the population by the spring with priority given to healthcare operators and people over 70 in the first trimester and then to continue with the most vulnerable categories. Over the past 24 hours Slovenia has registered 2,092 new cases and 17 deaths. (ANSAmed). (ANSA).
