(ANSAmed) - ROME, JANUARY 27 - The first online edition of "ViniVeri-Assisi 2021" is kicking off on Wednesday with 70 artisan winemakers. The virtual edition - according to a statement - was necessary to deal with difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The online edition, also considered as an "opportunity to take new roads with creativity and hope", is organized for "enthusiasts of natural wine", with a renewed official website of the Consorzio ViniVeri and the YouTube channel (Consorzio ViniVeri-YouTube) with 70 short videos directly recorded by wine makers in their wineries, divided by regions as well as in Spain and Slovenia.

The 70 video-interviews, edited with voices and stories around three questions, see each producer illustrate the most representative wine that would be debuted at Assisi 2021, describe the year and talk about an anecdote related to production or to a specific harvest. The president of the consortium ViniVeri Paolo Vodopivec said "around the New Year we had the idea of not abandoning our first annual meeting but to organize it in a different manner, accessible to all. A way to maintain a close contact not only with the public that visits our events, but also with the world of communication, the network of distributors and all lovers of natural wine. In a few days, 70 winemakers responded with enthusiasm, becoming the 'artisanal' protagonists of a video that was entirely 'handmade'".(ANSAmed).
