(ANSAmed) - ROME, APRIL 4 - Italian Foreign Minister Luigi di Maio said Monday that "the one held today was the third meeting of the cooperation mechanism between Italy, Croatia and Slovenia, started in 2020 in Trieste, at Italy's initiative, which aims to promote the area of the High Adriatic as an epicenter of growth and development". Di Maio was speaking at the end of a trilateral summit with his Slovenian and Croatian counterparts in Zagreb, Croatia.

"Last year in Brdo, Slovenia, we had given ourselves precise objectives, and I feel that I can say the results obtained so far are very positive. Together, we have selected further areas of cooperation, starting with internal security, and given further impulse to sectors on which our countries are already working, in particular connectivity, environmental protection and the Blue Economy", he added.(ANSAmed).
