(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, 28 SET - The Jordanian national airline Royal Jordanian will resume flights to Damascus starting 3 October, following a more than 10-year stop due to the war in Syria, said Jordanian Transport Minister Wajeeh Azayzeh, cited by Petra.

Travellers coming from Syria will be required to have a negative Covid PCR test from accredited Syrian laboratories taken within 72 hours of arrival.

Azayzeh said travellers will also have to take another test upon arrival at Queen Alia international airport in Amman.

An official Syrian delegation is in Amman and met with Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on the development of bilateral relations. (ANSAmed).
