Trade: Tunisia-EU, agreement to boost access to markets

    (ANSAmed) - TUNIS, NOVEMBER 7 - Tunisia and the European Union have signed a commercial agreement regulating market access, quality and consumers' rights, the director-general of the Tunisian institute for consumers' rights, Lasad Abidi, told radio Express FM on Friday.

    According to Abidi, the agreement will allow to boost the volume of Tunisian exports towards the European continent, making access of Tunisian goods in a market with 500 million consumers easier. The agreement includes a chapter on the protection of consumers' rights, a fundamental condition to satisfy EU standards. (ANSAmed)
