The gathering concluded that creating a lot of low-cost energy, electric energy and gas markets and obtain efficiency are three key steps for the geo-political independence of European energy.

''The choice of Naples to host this international meeting, during EnergyMed, is aimed at the future - said Dario Chello, an international manager for energy efficiency agency ENEA - because it can become the ideal platform for growth and development of energy union in the Mediterranean''. The deputy mayor of Naples Tommaso Sodano attended the meeting: ''The realization of such an important international meeting - he said - in our city shows how Naples is a point of reference and a platform for the sector in the Mediterranean.
