Algeria: Tunisia puts oil installation under army protection

(ANSAmed) - TUNIS, JANUARY 29 - Tunisia is putting its oil fields under army protection following a deadly terrorist attack on the In Amenas gas site in Algeria last week, Tunisian news agency TAP reported Tuesday.

Special military units will patrol the country's oil installations, most of which lie in the country's ''Saharan perimeter'' in the south-western Tataouine Governorate, bordering Algeria and Libya. (ANSAmed).
