(ANSAmed) - TUNIS, APRIL 10 - A report published by Wikileaks accuses Abou Iyadh, the head of Tunisian Salafite jihadists, of being a police informant under the Ben Ali regime.

The report suggests that the man provided information on al Qaeda to secret police.

Abou Iyadh has gone missing after allegedly leading hundreds of Salafite militants in an attack on the US embassy in Tunis on September 14, according to magistrates. (ANSAmed)
