    (ANSAmed) - ROME - The Libyan navy stopped two boats headed to Europe with 218 immigrants on board from a number of African countries, the Libyan news agency reported on Thursday.
    There were 118 people on the first vessel and 100 on the second, among whom there were 35 women, the majority of whom were pregnant, and three children.
    Monday evening two other embarkations with 175 Africans were stopped along the coast of Tripoli.
    The migrants, the majority of whom come from Senegal, Mali, Gambia and Somalia, were delivered to immigration authorities. (ANSAmed).
