No news on the two First TV reporters since 8/9

(ANSAmed) - ROME, NOVEMBER 12 - The Tunisian First TV reporters Sofiane Chourabi and Nadhir Ktari are reportedly in the hands of the Libyan jihadist group Ansar Al-Sharia.

There had been no news on the two since they were taken hostage while reporting in Sirte on September 8.

The news was reported by Libyan journalist Malek Cherif, an expert on terrorist groups operating in the country since the end of the Muammar Gaddafi regime. Cherif has said that Chourabi and Ktari have been moved to the Brigua region, considered a stronghold of jihadist groups. Despite mobilization in Tunisia, the case of the two missing journalists remains a mystery. First TV has stopped broadcasting since October 21 out of solidarity for the two reporters and their families. (ANSAmed).
