(ANSAmed) - NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 19 - A report released on Wednesday by the United Nations (UN) Security Council warns that the Islamic State (ISIS) possesses sufficient reserves of small arms, ammunition and vehicles to wage war in Syria and Iraq for another two years.

The jihadist group that controls vast swaths of land between Syria and Iraq has fighters from over 80 different countries and sources of funding totaling over three million dollars per day. The report calls for the international community to take more measures and impose sanctions to ''contain and neutralize the threat''. (ANSAmed).
